The Safari Highlights 
 

This safari takes you to the ancient Nile city of Cairo to see the historical PYRAMIDS, a burial tomb for the famous Egyptian Pharaohs, their queens, servants, properties, and animals. There are more than 80 pyramids in Egypt which were built mostly between 2600 BC and 1500 BC. The tour will proceed through the Nile; checking-in the Nile Cruise for a luxurious cruise on the Nile River disembarking at the spectacular Luxor Resort; where you will see among else the Valley of Queens, temples, museum and more tombs of powerful queens and kings.  The tour will conclude at the coastal town of Hurghada or Sharma El Sheik -optional, with a toned down experience of a bit of the desert, beautiful sandy beaches, and breathtaking coastal lifestyles.
 

Itinerary
 

 

Day 1: Arrival
Met on arrival at Cairo International Airport and transferred to your hotel. Check-in will be at Fairmont Towers Heliopolis Cairo, or accommodation facility of your choice (budget or luxury) where you will have your dinner and overnight.
 

 

Day 2: Cairo Excursion
After breakfast visit the breathtaking Pyramids of Giza, last surviving Wonder of the eight Wonders of the World, the Sphinx and Valley Temple. After visiting the Citad el, lunch en route, participate in the unforgettable walk through the sounds, sights and smells of the Khan El Khalili bazaar, before retiring to your hotel for dinner and overnight. 
 

Day 3: More Cairo then Transfer to Luxor
After breakfast you will visit the Egyptian National Museum to marvel at the legendary treasures of Tutankhamun, ancient artefacts and other masterpieces from the Land of the Pharaohs. Later, you will transfer to the train station and check-in the overnight train to Aswan.

 

Day 4 - 7: Nile Cruise (3nights on the cruise full board)
In Aswan you will check-in the Nile Cruise, and sail to Kom O mbo, then Edfu, cross Esna lock, then arrive in Luxor.

During the sail you will visit the temple of Edfu, the holy city of Horrus and the temple build in his honour; visit temple of Kon Ombo, which is dedicated to two divinities: Sobek (with head of crocodile), and Horus (with head of falcon).

Visit the temple of Philae dedicated to the worship of the goddess Isis, then proceed to the granite career with unfinished obelik and finally visit the high dam of Nasser giving rise to the Lake Nasser. All meals and overnight on board.
 

 

Day 7: Luxor Excursion
On landing you will be picked up and transfer to your hotel. Check-in will be at the accommodation facility of your choice (budget or luxury). After check-in you will visit the Valley of the Kings, containing tombs of the Pharaohs - including Ramses the Great - and site of the discovery of Tutankhamun's treasures, untouched for over 3,000 years, by British Egyptologist Howard Carter in 1922.

After this you will marvel at the spectacular temple of Queen Hatshepsut in the rock face of Deir el Bahri, and a visit to the Colossi of Memnon and an alabaster factory. Break off for lunch then cross from West Bank to East Bank by boat and visit the mo numental Temples  of Karnak and the Museum of Luxor.
You will then return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.


Day 8: Transfer to Hurghada Resort (3-4hrs)
Hurghada is a Red Sea resort with lots of water based activities. Tourists to this city savour in its magical beauty, charm and natural splendour.


Day: 9-10-11: Hurghada Experience
Your holiday in Hurghada will be spent at leisure; you may enjoy a range of water sports. You will also marvel at the beautiful laid-back costal lifestyles in this Egyptian city. Evenings will show you another side of Egyptians: enjoy an Egyptian four course dinner followed by a show featuring belly dancers, Egyptian folk dancers and horse-back riding exhibitions with a Sound & Light show depicting the ancient history of Egypt.


However a visit to Hurghada is not complete without visiting the following hotspots:


Marine Biology Museum: This museum is located a few miles north of the city of Hurghada. This museum displays things from various fields of biology and is an interesting place to be. Here, you can find a small aquarium as well.


Underwater Gardens: This is one of the finest attractions that you can find in this city. It is a beautiful garden in the Red Sea. At this place, you can find some rarest and beautiful species of fish and corals. The colourful fish under the deep blue sea will surely enthral you.


The Aquarium: At the north of Hurghada, you can site this aquarium. This Aquarium features a great collection of fish and marine life.
 

 

Day 12: Departure or Transfer to Sharma El Sheik 
This day marks the end of your safari, on this day you can choose between going back to your country, o r you may proceed to discover more historical sites at the nearby city of Sharma El Sheik.  

Sharma El Sheik is often called the “City o f Peace” because of the large number of international peac e conferences that were held there. This beautiful peninsula of Red Sea formerly a port has since become a posh resort attracting tourists of all sorts. Main ones being the religious, and history seeking tourists.
Sharma offers simple but rewarding excursions, which you can choose from, to participate in while there, among these is:
If you choose to go to Sharma El Sheik, the following excursions are a must.


1-Day: Excursion to the Legendary Mount Sinai
This journey starts at night, and trek through the dessert, arriving shortly after midnight to the foot of Mt. Sinai. On arrival at approximately 1.00am, start your climb towards the summit in time for the rising sun.

The track is not too steep although there are about five hundred or so steps at the very summit, but reasonable level of fitness is required. Legend has it that you will be following in the very footsteps of Moses who climbed Mount Sinai to receive the Ten Commandments.


After the magic of watching the sun’s first rays set the desert alight, you will descend the mountain to a full breakfast at the foot of the Mountain.

You will then proceed to St Catherine’s Monastery, said to be built around the Moses' Burning Bush. It is a spectacular natural setting for priceless works of art, including Arab mosaics, Greek and Russian icons, Western oil paintings, paintings on wax, fine sacerdotal ornaments, marbles, enamels, chalices, reliquaries, including one donated by Czar Alexander II in the 19th century, and another by Empress Catherine of Russia in the 17th century.

 

1 Day Jerusalem (Including Dead Sea) by Car & Plane
Experience 5000 years of history all in a single day: This 1 day tour to Jerusalem begins with an early morning transfer to the Israel/Egypt border and a drive through drive through the Arava valley and Negev Desert to Masada, a mountain-top fortress in the midst of the desert overlooking the Dead Sea. At the point where the desert gives way to rolling green hills, enter the Eternal City and drive to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view over the Old City and City of King David. Descend via the Garden of Gethsemane and the Kidron Valley to the Old City, walking along the cobblestone streets to the Western Wall – Judaism’s holiest site.

Trace Jesus’ last journey along the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and visit the Room of the Last Supper, the Roman Cardo and drive through the new part of the city, passing by the Knesset (Israel’s Parliament), before leaving for the airport and a flight back to Eilat and onward transfer to your hotel.

 

I Day Spa Ein Gedi Spa
Ascend by cable car and visit the ruins including King Herod’s winter palace, the synagogue, living quarters, bakery and hot baths with spectacular mosaics, whilst re-living the tragic story with explanations from your guide.
Continue along the shores of the Dead Sea to Kibbutz Ein Gedi for a buffet lunch, then on to the Ein Gedi Spa to relax in the sulphur pools at the lowest point on earth.


Cover yourself with the famous therapeutic black mud of the Dead Sea, and spend the afternoon experiencing the unique floating sensation unique to the Dead Sea. Later we shall return to the border for onward transfer to your hotel.
